An Answer Eliminator would be a useful tool to the many students who like to cross out the answers of a multiple choice question that appear to be incorrect to make process of elimination easier. Many AP tests allow test-takers to write in their test booklet and many take advantage of that privilege to cross out answers they think are incorrect. It is beneficial because it allows students to focus on answering multiple choice questions efficiently and in a more focused manner, just as they would during a real test. When tests are timed there is a lot of stress on test-takers to be efficient in answering questions and being able to cross out distracting and incorrect answers allows students to derive their correct answer in an easier way. This was a feature that the PARCC test has and I attached a picture of what the tool looks like when in use. It works by clicking a button that turns the answer eliminator on. Then if the student clicks on a multiple choice answer, it gets crossed out. To undo the action, one can simply click a crossed out answer with the answer eliminator and the answer will appear in its original form. One must press the answer eliminator button in order to return to regular question-selecting mode.
Overall, the feature is not required for students to use but will be very helpful to those who use process of elimination as a test-taking method. Thanks you for your time.
